The tension mounts…

Last Saturday we finally arrived in Spain after 14 hours, having started early in Germany. The bikes are also included, of course.

Bicycles are on the luggage rack. Now we’re ready to go.

Then came the shock: unfortunately, we couldn’t leave on Monday as planned because I got a middle ear infection and had to take antibiotics. I feel better now and at least the pain is gone.

But that also means that nothing stands in our way now and we can get started. Today we packed our bags and booked the hotel for the first night from Thursday to Friday.

Will it all really fit in the pockets? We will see.

The route along the coast is very beautiful and will take us through many lovely places. Every day is a challenge with almost 70km and many ascents of around 1000m. But as the saying goes: only the tough get into the garden!

This is the tour. A total of 730km with 10,700m.

We are motivated. And why make your life comfortable and watch the Tour de France on TV at home when you can do your own little Vuelta de España?
