It rained today and we had to drive in the rain the whole time. What a day! <\/p>\n\n

Our clothes hadn’t dried during the evening, so we decided to put them back on as they would get wet anyway. So we set off with wet clothes at 9:00 am. What a start… <\/p>\n\n

My glasses are wet all the time. I can hardly see through them. Stupid… <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n

We drove a lot of hairpin bends today with direct proximity to the sea. However, as visibility was poor, we hardly saw anything of it. The roads were nice because they were hidden in the forest and there were hardly any cars. <\/p>\n\n

We drive into the white. I wonder where we’ll end up? <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n

After just under 30 km, we find a small bar in the middle of the village. The hairpin bends are beautiful, but there are no villages. Completely famished, we have croquetas for lunch. Another 20 km later we come to the first real town on the route: Luarca <\/p>\n\n

From Luarcas, we then take the national road to Navia. It’s not a nice route, but it’s the direct way there. We arrive at our hotel at 4 pm, completely soaked. We immediately took a shower to warm up\ud83e\udee3 A friend of Pilar and Stephan’s comes from Navia and we meet the family this evening. <\/p>\n\n

A somewhat shorter report today. I hardly took any pictures in the rain. Instead, I cleaned my glasses every 500m, using my fingers as windshield wipers. <\/p>\n\n

But the great thing about the tour was that it was the first time I had cycled over 1000 m \ud83e\udd73<\/p>\n\n

Conclusion of the day: grit your teeth and get through it!<\/p>\n\n
